To find time to write these things. It gets more and more difficult everday, with both girls getting older and more demanding. I guess that I should start out with where I left off last time. I am officially an aunt now. Trinity Jade was born May 23, 2008 at 5:53 via c-section. She was 7lbs 3 oz and 19 inches long.
My Gracie is now cutting 4 teeth, her canines!! And Abigail is cutting her bottom two incisors. My girls are growing up so fast. Grace is now 15 months old, and Abby will be 4 months in 6 days. Abigail also got her first round of shots a couple of days ago. She now weighs 13 lbs 10.5 oz and is 23 inches long.
My husband will be working over this hitch for at least one week, possibly both, which sucks. So I might possibly not see him for another month. I also have been over-booked so to speak with my plans for the end of July. I am so irritated about this too. The one time that I have a reason to go and see my good friend for her son's first birthday, my in-laws decide to renew their vows and that they want the girls to be a part of the ceremony. Hopefully, fingers crossed we can duck out of there as soon as possible so that I can make it to her house somewhat in time for the festivities. Either way, we will be there the day after and stay for a couple of days so I can get some adult time, and the girls can get some play time with their "boyfriend". And what a cute little boy he is!!
And for once in my life since having kids, I am actually not stressed out at this moment in time.
I think that is absolutely fabulous. I am so carefree. Yes we still have a ways to go to be completely debt free, but we are making a dent in it with money to spare. We do a little at a time, and it really truly eases the mind. I have also been neglecting my household duties, due to the girls, but tonight will be catch-up night. My philosophy is that its much more important spending quality time with your loved ones, especially your children (teaching, learning, watching, etc.) rather than to spend that time doing the dishes, laundry, vacuuming, etc. After all you never know when your last with that one person may be. So why not cherish the time that you have with them while you can, and not waste it on dishes. Speaking of....I think that I will go play with Abigail while Grace is taking a little nap.

Just keep swimming....
Sorry everyone, but Grace just finished watching Finding Nemo, and that song is permanently imbedded into my brain. Moving on, I must apologize once again for being a bad blogger and falling behind, as someone dear to me has pointed out. It is so hard to find the time, energy and crap to write about. However seeing that I haven't written in a week I think I should have at least one thing to talk about.
Yesterday we took Grace took the park and let her slide for the very first time. We got some video of it including pictures. It was absolutely hilarious, when she was going down she looked scared to death, but once at the bottom and on the ground, she was laughing again. It was good fun. Abigail is cutting two teeth...WOOHOO, the fun begins. She is also laughing out loud now. She gurgles and blows raspberries as well. My husband also got nuetered this week, which wasn't my idea, but he said we didn't it to happen. I am kinda glad cause I am not wanting to be pregnant again anytime soon, but at the same time I am kinda sad cause I won't ever get my little boy. Also, my sister-in-law still hasn't had her baby girl...hopefully thursday will be the day. She is now 10 days late, and absolutely miserable!!!
Grace's potty training is going incredibly well. The only problem is she can't have anything while sitting on it, or have anything within stretching distance to her, cause she will get it and put it in the potty. Not so good for us. This morning she had to have a bath because she had pop tart goo everywhere!!! That girl is so smart. She has associated that if you have something that looks like a phone and has buttons like a phone...i.e. a calculator......that it IS a phone. So she puts it up to her ear and holds it with her shoulder, and walks around the house saying "HI! HEY! HI! HEY!" All day long!!!

Damn Doctors....

Hello, other bloggers, I am sorry I haven't been able to put anything new up recently. My family has been just a tad busy. Last week my mother had received a call from her cousin telling her that her uncle has been put on life support. She is waiting to find out whether he is going to start improving or if the family is going to decide to let him pass peacefully. In either case, my grandmother came into town to help out with my little brother just in case she has to go to a funeral. She (my grandma) is also in town for the arrival of our newest family member....my niece Miss Trinity Jade.
Yesterday was Mother's Day as most everyone knows. It should have been a great day for me, right!? Well not if Grace has anything to do with it. We were getting ready to leave and I put Grace on the top platform of the stairs so that I could shut the door, and I turned around and she was trying to walk off of the platform, which is about 3 ft up if not more. And for a person that isn't even 3 ft tall yet that is a long way down. To keep her from falling I grabbed her by the forearm and it slipped a little until i reached her wrist and that was when I heard a *pop*. She then proceeded to scream and cry in pain. I didn't think anything of it. I thought that maybe her wrist popped and it scared her. So I just put her into the car with her sister and we went to my mother's house. We got there and she was still screaming and crying. We waited about half an hour of her doing this and not using it or moving it. I finally decided to take her to the doctor since I did hear a *pop*. We got there and the doctor who saw her demonstrated on me what might have happened and what he will have to do to fix it. He ordered an x-ray to make sure that it wasn't broken. It turns out that when I grabbed her the pop that I heard was actually her radius (a bone in her forearm that connects to the elbow) popping out of the elbow joint and over the ligament that is supposed to keep it there. It is apparently a pretty common thing in small children. The term for it is "nurse's maid elbow". As soon as he popped it back in she was happy as she could be.
We then went back over to my parents house, where everyone was. I returned with a completely different child. We ate and hung out with everyone and then came back home.
Saturday we also went to rose garden and I took some pictures...some of which i will include in here. And that was our past few days.

update
Grace's potty is supposed to be here today. I am so excited about it, but am still really dreading it. I am praying that she will catch on quickly, but you can never tell with kiddos. Also, I had to take Abigail back to the doctor yesterday. She felt a warm to me, so I took her temp rectally since she is only 3 months old, and it came up with 106.3!!! I was shocked so i got a different thermometer and did it again. Still came up with that!! I started freakin out. I gave her twice the dosage of motrin and took all of her clothes off of her. We waited about 30 mins then I put her into the car, grabbed Grace up from her nap and put her into the car. Sped over to my moms house so that she could keep Grace. Got there and by that time her temp went down to 99.7. THANK GOD!!! They had ordered all these work up tests....because of last time, but then they decided to check her ears, and she has another ear infection. So she is on an antiobiotic for that, plus ear drops, plus her antibiotic for her thrush. Poor baby, I feel so bad for her, she took after me. We have a long road ahead of us with the doctors appointments with her. Just please continue to keep her in your prayers and maybe it won't be SO bad.

yesterday, today, tomorrow
Yesterday was one hell of a day for us here in east Texas!! We were under two tornado warnings, and had a funnel cloud pass straight over us...SCARY right?! Well in the midst of all of this a "suspicious package" was found on a park bench in downtown Tyler, which is only 15 mins from here. It was a tubular cardboard package, sealed on both ends with duct tape, zero writing!!! Once again, SCARY! So the bomb squad here was called in, and I am still not really sure what it was, but if it was a bomb, they deactivated (I guess that is the term) it.
Now onto today... Such a fun filled day of shopping for other people. My eldest brother is leaving for training tonight for his new job, and his wife is due to have their first baby in 7 days!!! She is totally freakin out about this. And my brother under me, my elder youngest brother will be turning 21 tomorrow. WOW! How quickly time flys! And on Monday, Abigail will officially be 3 months old!!! I can't believe it.
Also today we ordered Gracie her very own POTTY!! When that comes in hopefully it will be easy to potty train her, and it won't take her years to catch on to it.
I think that that is all I have to say for now.

Hello world...theres a song that we're singing
Good morning to all who visit my blog. Last night was much better than the night before. Abigail slept from 11 until 10 this morning. HOORAY!!
However yesterday during the day, neither of the girls wanted to cooperate with me. Meaning, Abigail wasn't happy unless I was holding, which....I don't mind, but how can I possibly get everything that needs to be done and hold her at the same time. I mean even with her baby bjorn you have limited mobility. You can't lean over to get clothes out of the dryer for fear that she is just going to slide right out onto the floor, so therefore you still have one hand on your baby making sure that she doesn't slide out.
And my dear sweet gracie, well, she thought of a new fun game where she goes back to her room, opens the drawers on her dresser and pulls out her clothes and brings them to me one at a time. So finally I had to fuss at her and I told her that I was going to "kick her little booty". Which she then thought I meant business and ran back to her room with all of her clothes and tried to put them back in the drawer and close it before I got back there. She is such a smart little girl. She also brings us wipes, diaper, and booty ointment to change her diaper when she feels that she needs to be changed...LOL. Oh the joys of parenting. Next we get to look forward to potty training. And I have NO idea on how to do this. So if anyone has any suggestions, I am here and listening. Any advice would be appreciated.
